My son is getting married in CT ( St. Helena ) in February so I am planning to spend few days there , but of course , I will try to make scoop for you maybe next week , so you can test it before our hunt for diamonds - gold we leave for Peter ! Grin

Peter - THIS IS AFRICA ! People go sleep with the sun - not like in the Europe ! How is to be back home ? I am happy here , only thing I am missing from the old country is tons of " treasure " straight in yours garden and in every forest ! Looks like now there is a snake - season in my bush ! Last week I was visited by nice sized Herald snake and Yesterday it was big Puff Adder on my stoop !

Hi guys
Been away for a spell, busy busy busy! Silki , I can't wait to have a decent scoop! It will be good to go hunting with you when you are in Town. Keep me posted. I do a lot of snake removals in my area .....be careful of that puffy...they are very quick on a strike.....you will not dodge it, they move and look slow but they are super fast strikers and have an incredible ability to launch themselves and get extra distance. But they are useful. I removed a nice Herald last week, I let it go in the garden.
Pgill, I'm Dutch and have an EU passport, my kids also have their passports , I would love to go back to Europe some day but then I don't want to have to work.......I want to go detect full time! HEHEHHEHE ....one can dream...
I see I missed a call from you....AGAIN. I 'll make it a point to give you a call this week! Okay now I'm going to go and watch your vid.

Hope all is going well with you? Yeah, I did phone to see how things were going,,,,, but not to worry, as long as things are good Wink

You can keep the snakes.... I love them, but from a distance of course Grin

the only snake I trust are worms

We had two wrinkles outside our yard last week, I think they were partners but were caught on different days.
I went detecting with Xavier on Saturday,,,,, we had great fun... went to an old house and found a couple of coins Great

We will be getting together next Saturday for a braai (barbecue) or something.... looking forward to it.

Hello Ladies

Well just a quick hello from me to ya all metal detecting coil heads LOL see still got my sense of humour he he. Had to shoot a number of rinkhals yesterday got to protect our cattle from them and at over R9000 a head I don't want to loose any of them nor the calves hey we got 26 now ( calves ) last one came on Thursday. Well got to go but will make a point of coming on the forum a bit more often .
