The buckle took about 20 minutes to sort out  Great going to create a frame from all the buckles from this site (5 off) Will also add a horse shoe to the frame seeing as the buckles are all horsey stuff, oh and that ring from the bridal that I found  Kiss Kiss Kiss

What on earth is a lute buddy  Idea have you been drinking again?

Hi Lads
X nice to have you back, I see you two have been cleaning the fields again......someone has gotta do it!  Tongue
Pgill , nice buckles and shells there. How are you getting on with the Garrett now?
I have been really busy again  so I am looking forward to the weekend , there's still more gold at that spot, I just need a good tide and swell. And no wind chill factor!
Also got myself a decent goggles and snorkel. I'm really hoping for a ring with ice. But I'll take what whatever the Gods will provide!
I cant stop looking at that damn bracelet......holy sh@$! Funny Silki is going to do a cammo job in his wetsuit when he sees this hehehehe!
Wonder where he's gotten off too. Probably had their internet taken away for surfing too much porn! Shocked

Hi X, I am getting worried about you and your drinking  Shocked you cannot even say milk  No no!

Viking, we have had a good time in that field, but it looks like most of the good stuff is gone now.. I am sure we will go back there sometime  Great X just needs to get sorted out with some form of discrimination on his detector, if he gets that right, he will whizz by with the finds  Wise Until then, he is welcome to use my spare machine  Great

I think I am doing well with the Garrett, it is a good machine, but does take time to get used to the pin-pointing etc. X helped me out a couple of times with his pin-pointer, when I battled with mine  Wink

I hope you get out and find that ice  Kiss Kiss that would be great. I love the bracelet you found, that a once in a lifetime find  Clapp

Hi Guys,

I was blessed by someone on this forum (will not name in case they do not want me to) with some arrow heads and scrapers. I decided that they would look great on my treasure wall along with my other stuff. I have taken the objects and framed them, and have placed them on my wall. They look great  Great

Thanks to the donor for this blessing  Kiss Kiss Kiss

Hi Pgill
You know that field has probably still got loads of stuff in it. It's just not in your machines range maybe. I am spoilt because I was given a T2. I think we should seriously make a plan to get together up there.
Could you send me some co-ords of your hunting grounds, I want to have a look and maybe pick up a few things.
The sea has been taking things ....valuable things from swimmers and beach goers for centuries, I think there is still a hell of a lot of gold and gems out there. It's just a bit more scary getting to it. We have big sharks and the attack around Cape Town have been pretty bizarre lately.

Very nice. Are they from SA?

Hey Viking, you think you have it bad? we have man eating sheep on this side, ask X  Shocked

We will go back to that site again, but next time I will do the same pattern but just at 90 degrees different. I have found that to work also. That big buckle was the last item I found, so there is still stuff there  Kiss Kiss Kiss

It would be great if you could join us  Wise This weekend X and myself are going to detect another site.... We did do this site once before, but just touched the surface.

Hi Viking

Them Johnnies don't look good mate if I were you I'd go out when there is a full moon lower tide and calmer sea in J-Bay that's how it is so would imagine that it would be the same in Cape Town. I have found a way to be able to discriminate with the PI just have not found how to do it yet as this is a bit to advanced for me but I'm working on it (when I have some spare time) Pgill don't know it yet but there is reason in my madness see I take out all the metal during the week then when he comes to detect I let him find all the good stuff LOL  I really got to get that discriminator working.
