I know you are messing, and don't worry I can take it all,,,,,, Oh, and did I tell you I can give it also  Grin Grin Grin

Buddy I am loving the detector, and agree I need lots of practice, but I will pick it up very quickly so do not worry  Great as with all detectors, it is just learning about all the controls, and what each will accomplish  Wink I have pretty much figured the buttons out.... BTW, love the trigger pin-point.... is there a way to get the pin-point area narrowed down? i.e with the Ace 250, you can pin-point more or less, then if you put the detector within the pin-pointed area and then pin-point again, it gets closer to the object by making search area a lot smaller  Great it worked great...

Yes Mate, first go past the target then pull the trigger and move the coil fairly slow and at just where the sound stops as you go over the target release the trigger and pull it straight away again and sweep back the other way, you can use this way so as to shrink down the target and use it as a way of measuring how big the target is, IE a beer can will be A bigger sweep one way than it will the other, but dont release the trigger until you are sure how big the target is and if you stuff your measuring/pin pointing release the trigger and start again,

Ok, hope this helps,   AU

Thanks Buddy, I will give it a try on Saturday Great With the large coil it is not easy pin-pointing, but I was getting used to it by the end of the last hunt  Shocked I should be an expert this time around  Wise

Peter When you do what I said, Life the coil a little and sweep again and your target will be right in the middle of the hole in the centre of the coil, You can pin point with that big coil just as well as you can with a small one, It's very accurite but trust the machine because it is always right the 950/9.5 coil is hot on that too, and because that machine is so good even though a big coil makes it hard to pinpiont on other machines you will find 99% of the time it wont effect you with that one,

Check out my new fossil  Great A "Devils toenail" given to me at my last detecting trip by a chap who found it in the same field we were detecting. It is said to be about 200 Million years old, same age as X  Laughing
