That's it now I don't know if I must cry or laugh? HOW MUCH F$%@ SPACE do you think that you need to make a coil? you could make it siting on the end of your bed (you do have one don't you?)  not to mention that a few post ago you told me that you were going to show me how to make them! Ho well have a nice hunt any way LOL

Hey buddy, I cannot do a coil anywhere else but the kitchen as the rest of the house is carpeted, and it would not go down well me making a coil and making the carpet dirty  No no! Hey, I do have a shed,,, could use that I suppose  Kiss umm maybe I will make you sleep in there when you decide to come  Funny

Of course we have a spare room for you buddy, and no it is not the friggin kitchen, now hurry up and visit us  Angry

Peter  I'll have to visit GD first but I will do it a round trip SA, USA, UK and back to SA maybe the other way round just depends on the flights and the price. I'm was just thinking.. how the hell will you make a mess by turning some wire round a flower pot (empty)?  Grin you could use your wife's hat as a coil former too you know LOL mind you it should be about 280mm in diameter and I don't think she has such a big head. Haaa got it the cats bowl use that mate it will work 100% (don't have a cat well then what about the neighbor?

I think that it was 120 pps Will have to check that  Undecided  I remember that the inductance was 250 uH I think that R was 5R and that it had 16 turns coil diameter is 280mm and wire diameter was 0.5mm to 0.8mm (now why don't I keep a record of all this)
