Peter, Yes he got over it, He was teaching school there when I left in 1990.  I made my own leggings but I seldom wear them in the field. maybe I should start?

Speaking of Black adder Did you ever see the old BBC TV show with that name?  It's a hoot.  Funny

I do where boots when I go out detecting, so guess that would help some against snakes, the cobras (Rhinkals) that we have here can spit in your eyes with accuracy up to 5 meters.... So they do not even need to bite, they just spit at you....  Shocked

I had a Corral Snake for a pet for three years.

Charley Was his name.

Ate Crickets from my fingers.

Handled him almost every day.

I didn't know the Yellow and Black rym back then. Cool

I let him go after finding out what he was.

As it turned out he was quite large for a Coral Snake at 1.5ft long.

He was only 11 inches when I found him.

Red and Yellow, Dead Fellow.

Red and Black, Good for Jack. Cool

LOL!   Charley was Cool!

REMARKS: This is Arizona's only representative from the Elapidae, a family of snakes that includes mambas, cobras, kraits, and taipans. It delivers neurotoxic venom through fixed, hollow fangs in the front of the mouth. There have been no reported deaths from its bite in Arizona but this snake should be considered dangerous and should not be handled.

Karl, I am sure it would not be a problem to cut the grass, but there is just so much it would take me the whole year to do it, by that time, fire would of burned it out much quicker  Great I am afraid it is just not practical to cut grass...

Renegade, sorry about the ear problem  Thumbs Down that is worse than my grass problem  No no! I must admit, I am blessed with not getting ear problems, although the wife always tells me I don't listen  Shocked but surely a person must talk to be heard  Mad

Gambol, X has earache but we found it was space invaders in there.... they were echoing in the hollow space between his ears  Beer Chug
