Two questions and one observation--- 1) Is that Homefire in the video (and if so, how'd he get to South Africa)?
                                                     2) Pgill, is that an accurate representation of life on X's place?
                                                     3) If that's what X would look like with his beard shaved off, we are better off with the Professor Dumbledorf look.

Gambol, who is that laughing in the movie  Undecided Well that is exactly an X movie BA, the sheep look the same, the man really does look like X, especially at the beginning with the hair  Funny Funny Funny oh, and that is mostly all he finds also (trash) that movie should be called "X on the his sheep".... The bull is the same, except I do not remember the ring in the nose  No no! Are you sure you did not steal one of my movies Gambol  Shocked

That Pro-Pointer is in the post to the UK now so should have it by the time I get there  Great Gambol, the heart was found in a small "toll house" building in between mountains that were on one side holding the British and the other side the Boers... One December they had a massive 3 day battle where a couple of thousand were killed, but there were no winners.... both sides took their toll.... How that building still stands is a big question  Idea

Hey guys.
I'm gonna buy a damn plane again........"toll house between the mountains"....."sliver locket" ....."first damn prize"......You know what PGill..........you are walking away with some damn nice memories of your time here. If you are anything like me, the nostalgia you will be feeling in a year or two is going to be gut wrenching...like a rush in a weird kind of way.
I reckon that match holder is SO deserving of that prize.........they picked well!
Also it's weird that we share much common interest and that I'll meet you for the first time........in England , when you take me on a real hunt. Hey X if things work out I'll sponsor you if I have to............butt if you win the lotto, the other way around also works.
I was reading our early posts ....all the ideas we had, and saying how the country is actually small, just going to hop on a plane blah blah..............then the shit hit the fan with the economy and it's like well actually it's not that small ....and it does cost an arm and a friggen leg........"LIFE" ,gotta love it.
The wife just looked over my shoulder  and said.......you need a hanger for that plane this time so add a couple of zeros to your savings target....lol!
You keep well now ladies

BA No I wasn't thinking of anyone in particular just how Baaaad I like metal detecting. For all the Shaun the Sheep fans check out his River Dance on UTube. We have a sheep with class here.

Pgill, I was wrong about that being my favorite. Clapp You make much better metal detecting movies. I remember one you made. I think it was called 'Heavy Metal Peter' It was grand music and everything. As I recall you dug up a lot of trash in it too.  Grin gambol

Ah, where do I start  Crazy save the best till last  Funny Funny Gambol, when I put the heavy metal movie togther (whichever one that was (probably all of them )) it was to show the other side of not learning how to detect probably  Idea if you do not learn how to use your detector correctly, you will find junk  Shocked

I did find out where the bulls ring was, X found it and dug it out of the bulls nose.... His best find of the day  Clapp

Viking, you are very right... if you read through all the discussions on this topic, there are many gems  Great people may think we just play around (silly people) but we are actually very serious about our hobby, except for X  No no!
Anyway, a ticket to the UK is only R7000 return, so not that bad in the end... Spending money is worse  Thumbs Down but I can give you the accommodation on that side, and will show you some good sites, even with gold on them  Kiss Start saving ladies  Wise

Going through to X for the day tomorrow with Pauline  Great umm no detecting though  No no! just means braai (babeque) and beer  Kiss

For all my SA buddies, have a great holiday tomorrow....  Great

Grin Grin Looks like you guy have it in for me at the moment but that's OK I'm a good Christian and therefor I will forgive you (for now any way) Viking I have not played the LOTO for quite a while now but will be playing again soon and should I win then we can take a trip to the UK and visit bad Peter  Wink I also want to go to the USA and visit my good friend GD then Australia but this all takes money lots of money. We now have 260 hectares of land to plant and that should give us a few thousand bails of grass  Cheesy Tomorrow I'll be fertilizing the land at 05h00 to be done for when Peter gets here, I think that I'll let him do the BBQ for me while I'll drink the beer and watch him do all the work (I don't think that he'll mind)  Grin I found a new place to go detecting, it's an old stone house that I found by looking at the new land that we got, it's a pity that Peter wont be here to help me detect the place but that's OK I'll post all the good finds.  Kiss

That's quite an impressive hayfield, about a square mile, I believe. That's exciting you have another "new" building and land to detect and ON your own property. What could be better? lol. Good luck on lots of great finds.
Hope Peter enjoys his move to the UK and is happy with it.
