Grin Grin I hear you loud and clear but if I'm not mistaken this stuff is made from natural substance that the broad leaf weed can't have a bit like giving parsley to a canary. I also don't like chemicals but what can I do about the weed? if i don't spray I have very little grass for the winter and then what will my cattle eat?

True! My chickens don't like the taste of dandelions (much), so I have to pull them out of our lawn constantly, and there are loads of them!  Sad

Well, no worries.

Ok Ladies, good AND bad news  No no! Good news first, the plumber came and replaced all the seals and springs and other changeable items on my boiler  Great, the bad news is that all I have is warm water  [angry]wish they would sort this boiler out....
Great news though is that a hunt to a Roman occupied field is on for this weekend, hopefully the rain will stay away and we will find much treasure  Kiss Clapp

Buddy, glad to hear the detector is working, now please get that coil sorted and stop smoking the weeds  Funny Funny Funny

Angry Angry I did the first coil today only to find that my coil former design SUCKS  Angry I hate to loose, I am a sore looser and I know it, So now I'm going to design the coil making device of the century LOL no really mate I'm not having a good time at the moment Piet lost a finger in the lawn mower while I was working on it, and then I had to set someone straight at the office, my grass cuter needed fixing R2700 later and my coil former is crap. Ha but on a brighter note I did have a good BBQ  Cheesy  Ho by the way I hope that you will find a load of good stuff  Kiss and shoot the stupid plumber go to the store, get a new heater and be done with it ( charge the land lady or land lord) come to think of it why don't you just make a fire in the middle of the lounge?  Grin Grin

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Hey all. xavier and zul32, I don't know much about soil, but, in Texas and Oklahoma, we would burn the grasslands in small manageable chunks to kill the weeds. It made the grass come back stronger and crowd out the weeds before they could comeback. The grass came back faster for some reason. We had some blacklands and some sandy land. xavier, sorry your design didn't work out, time to start over, ouch.

We do that here too, it's the first place where your grass is green.
