I'm keen to find out as well.
Didn't the army find the old cave in the hill around Townsville a few years ago that was sealed over and still had trucks, jeeps and such stored away inside as the cost to bring them back to the states was too much and they couldn't be arsed to destroy them?

I should guess that there are many such items that were buried during and just after the war.

Just the scrap value of these could be a handsome reward.

RR that truck hold a small house on the rear, just sell the old homestead and go a-travel'n.  Follow the sun as they put it up here, people sell their house, by a motorhome and go north in the summer and south in the winter.  Now if it was me I'd take that armored personnel carrier then I could go just about anywhere I wanted to in the mountains around my neck of the woods.  those slightly overgrown logging roads would be no challenge to that beast.
