At this juncture, I'm tempted to espouse on how my probe is always accompanied by 2 boxes (of a TF900), but I shall exercise self-restraint.  Tongue Tongue Tongue

There i no such thing as yamashita treasure buried here in the Philippines. please tell your fellowmen who are coming here in the philippines exploring those so called yamashita treasure to please go back to your country. i have heard  a lot of germans, americans and koreans holding a map and asking some old landmarks here in the cordillera. i dont know if this fellows are crazy wasting there time and money exploring something that it does not exist at all.

Hey Hobbyist My detector is bigger them your detector O H*** we are back in high school

Bob Curtis was the owner of a Las Vegas based mining companied and hired by the former Philippines presdident Ferdinand Marcos to recover Yamashita treasures. Marcos had around 170 maps which were believed to be authentic Japanese treasure maps.

Bob made some discoveries however most of it was coming from a sunken WWII Japanese vesel. When Marcos wanted to get rid of Bob he fled back to the USA. As he had mad copies of the original maps, he came back to the Philippines several times after Marcos had been removed from his office and power. Bob was well eqipped e.g. bringing along Lambert Dolphin, a pioneer in Ground Penetrating Radar. I was introduced to Bob through my friend Tony Wells - author of the book Sunken Treasure in South East Asia.

The bottom line is: Bob died some years ago WITHOUT having discovered anymore treasure.

So if Bob didn't make it despite having what is commonly believed to be the most authentic there is in maps and emplying state of the art technology, who else do you think will reover anything in the Philippines? I guess nobody!

While some of our Filipino friends may call me an armchair hunter and tell me they know what they are talking about as they've been told so by spirits, divine rods etc. I prefer to take into consideration the expirience of serious people like Bob, Tony or Lamber.

Regards,

Christian

well,as I have said, and will repeat this over and over again:yes, the treasure exist, but I guess there is no reliable technology yet to be used for successful recovery and if there is,the amount of money to be used for any project would be an issue.

Most treasure hunters here in PI have seen things not natural or extra ordinary and supposed it to be markers of ww2 treasures and they want help:financially and of course reliable detectors for any proposed project. The problem now comes in,....if they ask for help, they will be called scammers and all that.

I myself, have possible treasure sites, but without the budget,I cant go further and yes!,I want some help but I dont want to be called a scammer. So? I just left the sites and save them for future recovery rather than be  accused of being someone I am not. Violent Violent
