The point is that whatever I'm doing is partially working.

Yes....... It's known as "Random Chance".

Random chance,,, Maybe you should read some of the previous posts.

Let's see in 500 acres there should be quit a large number of sq ft. (not wasting my time to figure). Take 4- 1 ft areas out of this and figure 5 people pick the same exact ones. Plug that into any level of stats. and prob. and see if random chance has a chance. Please,,, you are way out of touch and those same old tired answers are old and tired. I understand you are doing the best you can, but leave this to the big ones.

Look,
Don't waste your time or money - There is no such thing as a camera that can see gold "auras" or whatever.
Read the post carefully... it's just a scam to sell a book.

Hi guys;
It's always amazed me that people that do so little know so much. Hat's off.

I don't know if the camera works or not. I think it may be the software.  I'll know soon. And it won't be an OPINION, it will be a fact.

I've seen images taken with very advanced cameras that can be set to filter all sorts of layers.This camera doesn't look special. They have hit 4 spots dead on that we had signal and a pinpoint on. We'll see.

When it finds a cache, I'll say it works.

Thank you Paul,

My English is not as well as native speakers, so some points are not clear enough to me.

Thanks for your help.

How condescending of you. I wouldn't believe a word you write here now. You just proved to me that you are nothing more than a troll here.

Well, that's a shame because other than a few very obvious attempts at humor, all you will hear from me is what I know is dead on. I was referring to comments by people that have no hands on experience on what they are saying. How is that condescending? Seems like that is dead on truth also. If something doesn't work for me ,I will say so. If it does work I'm not going to lie about it to keep from taking heat and I'm not going to harass someone because he does something different than I do  Why would you want someone that would do that to be on here? On the other hand if someone pushes a blatant lie, I may step up.

Are you saying all of us self deceived ourselves at different times on exactly the same spots???  Can you imagine the odds of 5 people picking the SAME spots out of over 500 acres of area?

Depending on how this was done and what people were seeing, then it's very possible they could all pick up on the same cues. That's why you would apply scientific rigor in evaluating performance, if you really wanted to evaluate performance.

And how is finding an unknown target not as scientific as the shell game in the yard?

There is no base line. Nothing to say whether it was a true performance or a chance result.

Quote:Posted by {author}
I have no reason to lie about any of this.

Personally, I have no doubt you believe what you say you believe. I just think you're mistaken.

Quote:Posted by {author}
Come on a hunt with us, get some real first hand facts. See the units lock on a target, chase it down, triangulate it, run the detectors over it, run the gpr over it, dig it or leave it. Look for another one. It's all good sport.

I agree, it's all good fun, if only make-believe. A simple randomized blind test would quickly show that you can't really locate anything, but most dL'ers are afraid of scientific testing, because reality spoils the fun.

To answer your question, this is the condescension above.
