anyways I found something this last time I went out Detecting I need to take a pic of and let someone tell me what it is cause I sure aint got a clue as to what it is.  Undecided

The fire is more then 80 miles from us.

Not a problem here.   Just the Smoke. Cool

Homefire, I saw on TV tonight the fires are getting close. How far away are they from your territory? I also saw there was rain throughout the southeast maybe some of it will get to NM and AZ. We have had enough here in Florida. The lakes are filling up which is a good thing, we were running out of water. The garden is a jungle. I mowed it down today.

We just got back from Alaska. I took my M.D. with me but wasn't able to do much hunting. Everything was owned by the F.S. and off limits. What little hunting I did was on private property. A damn shame because we went over the Klondike trail and I was having visions of digging up some gold rush memorabilia. The Canadians require a 'prospecting permit' it takes 60-90 days to get so don't plan on doing any detecting there.   Good trip though, the wife and I saw a lot of scenery.  Detecting

Gambol1 - I would love to go back to alaska , my only time there was just a layover flight,but it was beautifull flying over it.  Glad to hear florida is full of water again, LOL

and Yep Homie needs a tropical storm to blow up right thru east texas and right up into NM and Colorado to do away with all the dryness.
