This is a true story of how the Memphis Pyramid Store came to happen.

The mayor of Memphis was golfing with the Owner/CEO of bass pro.
He told him the pyramid had been sitting empty for years and how it  would be great if bass pro would build a store in it . And make it a Destination place. For people to come vacation at etc.

So after listening to the mayor ramble on about the pyramid the CEO.  Said .... if i make the next shot we will build it.
If not this conversation is over.

Well the rest is history a couple of years later we now have the world’s largest sporting goods store in the world
In Memphis TN.

We now have a Cabellas store about an hour away but it's nothing like bass pro
Its about half the size.
