HH,

I agree GO GO but nobody asked for money and it seems to be legit so what is it hurting. I just hope that they follow thru and contact all the folks that took the time to answer the request

Go Up Go Down

Just throwing this in for those putting their name in to think about.

I'm surprised there have not been very many questions as to how many people tagging along. What kind of schedule for shooting (You may want to think about it if you have to quit a job to fulfill the schedule. Or the idea of treasure hunting on a forced schedule.) ? Is there expected to be travel (As in would you need a visa, or pay your own way until contract fulfilled.) . Would some help be available for logistic arrangements?  Would the film crew be ready when you are (Get a hot lead or a chance opportunity that happens all at once could they respond.) ? Would locations be kept confidential (As in an area you may want to go back to.) ? Would amount of time allotted at one site be limited (How many shows will say we have to get back to home and review findings or other wise time limited. ) ? Questions you need to answer yourself like could you come up with xx spots to look and how many people would actually think it interesting. Would you really be ready for it?  Some of the people volunteering would probably be able to handle it. I doubt all.

Advantages going up to some one who has property you want to hunt. May be an advantage saying its for xxx show. Should be some form of funding for it. Possible help on arranging hunts. It could be a blast.

I have to agree!! There are issues to think about as the ghola's  post said above.

I have to assume that if a program such as this, would have directed you to a contact Number or Email address along with any info that would  pertain to the position requirements etc.

I'm feeling this may be one of the Flaming Brown Bags on the front porch doorbell stories.

Ugh! And I stepped in it!

I don't think its a hoax. It does sound like a legitimate feeler for a possible show but may not even make the cut. Like Seldom said it does seem to check out. Just some thoughts for those who apply.

Hello Heather,

What a great idea for an entertaining and innovative show!  My treasure hunting partner and I would be interested in knowing more about this project.  We are both currently involved in treasure hunting on the east coast.

My partner’s background: a former Army Intelligence Officer, internationally renowned remote viewer (a psychic who works under strict scientific protocols, such as double blind targeting), an author and mining consultant.

My background: 25 years as a law enforcement professional. By using my intuitive ability along with my police training, I have found and recovered millions in drugs, cash and firearms as a narcotics investigator for the last 13 years.

We look forward to hearing back from you with more details about the project.

Best of luck with the search and development of the show.

Cordially,

GMI

Go Up Go Down

This has been so far an interesting short story and not a bad idea for a TV series.

In order to be successful a TV series has to be colourful entertaining interesting and able to hold an audience the longer the better.
It has to have a central theme something to hang it on. That is the reason for my approach .  A small ship with a great deal of Character that is capable of being a permanent base and that can reach all parts of the world.

It appears that there are lots of interesting characters active on this web site so lets consider collectively how a series on treasure hunting around the world could be adapted to a TV series that we may or may not be able to participate in.

For Example there could be a real live treasure be hidden somewhere in the world and the series follows the chosen few in their endeavour to find it.

Most important issue is to let go our ego's and freely put up thoughts and ideas that can be knitted together to create an entertaing TV Series which could go on for years
From an ol pirate a wicked wench thats hails from way down under

This sounds like it could be as popular as Pawn Stars or Storage Wars. With the economy right now, television viewers love to see stories of people finding treasure and fantasize that it could be them. I am a writer and have several ideas about how to develop this idea and make it highly marketable.
