How about a button to find newest posts in all topics. I am old, dense, senile, and I guess stupid, but, have trouble finding newer posts. I enjoy reading posts no matter how old, but, the old links usually don't work and I kinda feel weird reviving the posts after years, lol. Whew, I thought xavier had taken my idea, lol. Grin

You already can edit your posts as long as you do it within 3 minutes (or something like that). After a while, that ability fades away. The reason is simple. If you come back a week later and edit a post that someone has answered already, it can make nonsense of the thread or topic. Thus, if you make a mistake and someone comments on it, you just have to explain yourself later to clear it up but in doing so, you don't make other comments into nonsense.

You have to give people a few hours at least.

I change my mind every 6.9 Minutes all day.

Moderators have no time limits for making changes, Homie. Don't tease the regular users. They don't have long to edit their posts. Only a few minutes at best.

I think it is 60 Minutes which I hope is sufficient.

The reason the time limit was introduced is because on very rare occasions we have had former members that left in grief cross out their postings by editing them - which would render a whole topic pointless in this case and thus being unfair towards the other members.

There are small icons saying "NEW" next to a post. If you press on the "NEW" icon it will take your directly to the new posts that is the last past you have not yet read. THis way you don't have to go through old posts whoch you had allready read.
