No Checkmate!  LOL

Some of us do not do banks.

I happen to be one.

I have No Credit Cards, No Bank Account.

An the problem is?

I can Send Money Orders.

I can send a Bank Draft from Cash if needed.

But Pay pal needs not to be the only way!

I have no Need for Banks.

Look what they have done for us this fare!

Transferring money should not cost any more then sending a letter.

If your doing from a Bank, they already used your money to make money.

Charging you to use your own money is in the wrong.

Pay Pal is just a Sponge.

You once said they don't charge you but rest assured they charge the others.

I choose not to be the other.

You can buy a prepaid Visa or MasterCard just about anywhere these days. Stop making excuses.

Just my 2 cents Christian but - How about doing what a lot of Forums do ; Swap out Mod's every couple of year's. this encourages members to strive for that position and hopefully encourages posting and new thread developments. make mod tenures end in different years, this way only one or two new mods come on every year  and  let global mods stay longer than a reg mod etc. Lot's of Forums do this . and it helps to limit mods from having the God Like Syndrome.

There are ways to send money, it is just a major job to do  No no! we have to fill out all sorts of documents, and have so much different documents before we can send money, and as X has said, it then costs us 100% on top to send money.... Just not good  Cry and the place to send money from nearest to me is about an hours drive... So in the end, it is just not worth doing  Idiot Hey maybe we can send other items in exchange for goods  Idea

SMF has no limits on the number of moderators you can have. Moderation isn't dependent on fresh, new ideas. That's what kills a forum. The focus of this forum in TREASURE HUNTING and trying to move it away into other areas is not good. The moderators all have a mission assigned by Christian to attempt to maintain that focus and also to maintain civil behavior. Nobody gets a God complex from being a moderator. All we get is a huge paycheck for being abused on a regular basis.

Lots of forums swap out moderators? Why? Show me one that does for the reasons you state. What really happens is that moderators move on, getting bored, finding a better place or dying from old age. Look at the list of moderators right here and see what I mean. There are quite a few who are listed but rarely come here any more. It just happens all by itself. That is what presents an opportunity to add new moderators. When they are added, they are then given their marching orders. The forum owner sets that policy. You can't get rid of me that easy. You're going to have to wait until I die, mate.

The purpose of this forum is to talk treasure, DIY projects, finds etc. But we have a handful of members who want to turn it into a social networking site so they can talk BS all day and argue with the mods when they are called down on it. We have had several hardcore researchers and hunters move to other forums because they are tired of BS post of a frog drinking beer or a fat girl farting right in the middle of serious treasure discussion.

This forum is dieing guys I can see it GD can see it many others can see it. Its time to make some decisions. If we want a social networking site then myself and others that want to talk treasure need to move on to a site where we can without all the BS from a handful of crybaby's (CLOWNS). If on the other hand we want a serious treasure forum then we need to curb  all the crap and make the majority of the post about treasure.
