Two problems I am seeing  No no!

1. The store might as well be taken away as I ordered two buckles which Christian has told me he will send, and still have not been sent.... 2 years now and many requests..... I now have many point which i can buy with, but will not bother if they cannot be used  Cry

2. Just noticed that the "free webpages" for members sites are not working... clicked on two of the sites and they come up with an error.... maybe due to the upgrade and just not sorted yet? not sure...

Here Here!  I really would like the store to work again.

Could we just add that the Buyer pays shipping from the seller?

Now Im getting nasty!

Homie, I would not mind that, but remembering that also we pay customs charges when it hits our countries also.... I had coins sent to me a little while ago and I got charged R68.00 ($8.50) it is not a lot.... But it would depend on how much postage would cost as we would pay postage and customs fees.... But like the idea... I think Christian said it would cost $5.00 to post, wonder what the best way would be to send postage that way  Idea

X, I don't mind as such, but if you advertise the shop, then you must run with it..... otherwise don't have one....

Didn't you say that you wanted to start one? well here's a business opportunity for you mate, take the shop over (But only do that once in the UK you'll get robed here)  Grin You could sell all your stuff and still send out the goodies that people buy with their gold and you could do like a pawn shop buy and sell second hand stuff I'm sure that you would have a lot of stuff to sell, better yet you don't by the stuff you just sell it for other people and you take a commission.

I am sure Christian would be very happy with me doing that  Kiss But it would be nice if the shop was running as it gives us guys a chance of getting stuff that is not available in this country.... I am sure others think the same way  Great and it is a great idea, and a good incentive to post on the Forum  Idea

I've had some experience running  a shop for an organization and it was a bad experience. I don't want to Poo Poo the shop but when you have to run it on a volunteer, not for profit basis it gets old quick. Especially when people are bugging you to get their stuff. Finding a person that would run the shop for more than 6 months was impossible and every time we changed the inventory went to hexx.  We solved that problem by contracting the shop an on-line business that got a small commission on each sale. Don't know if that would work here but it is a suggestion.  Round About

Cool Idea but the Shop is for Members to injoy and Profit for being productive.

Items are all donated by Members , that and shipping is the major problems.

Like Home said postage is the killer. All of the stuff is at Christians house in Germany 3 or 4 orders a week to the US and cost could get big real fast
