is it true that treasure codes vary with respect to the location of the place?

Signs and markers vary more with respect to which parties buried the caches, and immediate terrain. However for what its worth, I can say that I've seen carved markers east and west of the Sulu and Celebes seas which were identical, or with common components and slight variations on a similar "theme".
