It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Is there any way possible to keep you two on topic or is it a hopeless cause?

I've been trying to keep him on course but he keeps swinging like a pendulum and the rotation of the earth aint helping me either, not only does he sway from side to side but also in circles. I was actually trying to have a normal discussion with him about the Anglo Boer war and the reason as to why we never found any Scottish items at any of our sites, my theory being that they (Scottish) were mostly (If no all) in Natal (Durban) as this was where most of the fighting took place. I know for sure that there was a Scottish regiment but I will have to look up the name of it and try to find out how many men there were.

At least I have a descent flag, not a pair of underpants  Funny Funny Funny My permissions have nothing to do with the Boer war, but is all about the British  Great now you get out there and find some 1800's British relics at those Boer war sites  Shocked Hey, maybe I will find some relic that has been bought back from South Africa after the Boer war  Great

Now that would be funny Ho by the way it's not underpants it's a G-string  Grin Peter I do hope that you will find a piece of ground to detect on and hopefully a bit bigger than an average British back yard  Undecided  would be cool if you could get a farm to detect on though.
