I do suspect this patient has experienced surgery prior to this date.
It took me all of ten minutes to get the Coil Shell open with Zero Complications.
What ever adhesive they used it was NOT ABS approved.
This coil was NOT Water Proof as a New Coil. The Cable Entry point was not the compression sort. The cable sheathing was damaged on Inside of the entry point. Probably why coil shows open. Evidence of water seen on the Carbon/Graphite shield spray.
Both Tx and Rx coils seem to be wound with like 32 or finer gauge wire. OH the Joy.
I'll attempt to dig enough wire out of the Rubbery Epoxy gick to get some measurements and possibly save the coil.
That Failing I have a serviceable Coil Housing to build you a coil. DD Type I'm thinking.
