KARL ! it seems that too many of us fall into this trap and the shops should have a policy where they don't sell these supa detectors to people like me when i started off $4000.00 and it was as much use as an ashtray on a harley !!!   Grin Grin
I spent over $10000.00 in 5 1/2 yrs, and it was people like kellyco and Steve Herschbach who don't owe me anything and nor do i owe them but they said it as it is, not media hype just common sense they did'nt gain anything from me .but i will say it again THEY ARE HONEST PEOPLE , I've worked these areas over and over again and found nothin then my friend put me on to the machines i've got now after about a month or so i got on steve's and Kellyco's web site and that sealed the deal .

So please learn by my mistakes, i paid the price, you folks don't have to if you keep reading this everytime you have doubts,
all the best

john

Oh I know John, I had the whites before but too heavy for my bad shoulder, it was a older model , but I likes my BH and it does good. regardless of what people think.

All I know is that asking "what is the best detector made" is like asking "what is the best vehicle made"............the only truthful answer is "it depends on a whole lot of variables and personal preferences"

Karl on the junk infested sites along the river thames bounty hunters are about one of the best machines to take down there because of the ultra fast recovery speed, theres not much out there to knock them off that spot !!!!
i did say something that took me a week to write a few pages back with that answer

U know Pat , I make enough $$$$ to do that , but don't have the urge like a lot of guys do to run out and buy the latest and greatest model, it's just not me, besides I'd rather my money was in the bank making me money than buying a machine that will be to heavy or i get disapointed in it cause it doesn't work for my area.
