huh humm , Well personally think the Whites Mxt is one of better all round detectors on the market, where as KARL on the other hand prefers the light weight more ergonomic assets of the Bounty Hunter pioneer, Where as pat prefers the Fisher Gold Bug, it's a racey little number that has tested his curiousity as he explores this mystic hobby of ours and to even expand his horizons even further he has now bought a new mp3 Huh?

which i thought was a music box , but at the moment he's not here to share his testing to date

Hey Bill......if you don't own a detector and are looking for one, go to the search field in the top right corner and type in "best detector" and then choose "search entire forum" to find what's been written before.

Here's a big hint----There is NO best detector, although there can be a best detector for you. So if you're looking for someone to tell you what the best detector is and they tell you one, you're going to have to ask yourself why they picked that one (which isn't to say they didn't give you an excellent choice.) What you'll get from us is a list of things to consider and look for when you are choosing a metal detector. Think of it like buying a car/truck/suv/boat or a camera or a stereo and you'll do fine.

well thanks for all the replys,,,maybe one day i can afford another detector,i lost mine in a fire about 4 months ago and have yet to get the funds up to replace it,,,,,,this is my life,,,i have a mother inlaw who has breast cancer and they r giving her 3months to a year to live and it has taken a toll on the whole family,she has 3 tumors in her brain,2 tumors in her chest and stomch,and 4 in her back,you see where all my money goes,trying to keep all of her meds so she can live alittle longer and im on disability and i live chech to check but any ways thank's for all the reply's when im able i will double check back and see wich detector im going to get,,,,,thank you all so much,,,,,,,and god bless
