Judge makes thieving Odyssey Marine return stolen goods

It really comes down to who could apply pressure or grease the palms of the judges best.

If it was originaly returned to whom it was originaly stolen, then that would truley be justice ! & it ain't Spain !!!!!!

I don't expect justice in the US from Obummer on down to the justuce system. It's a house of cards & of lies/greed.

This will just cause treasure hunters to be less open about their finds.

RO, I find your answers troubling, like the judges are on the moral high ground & above approach..........most have their agenda. (you sound like a first year law student ga-ga over the legal system, holding them up on a pedestal (corrupt as they are)).

That's correct. There was no trial, and the court only ruled on jurisdiction. They claimed they didn't have jurisdiction, so the coins should be returned to Spain. This was a political decision, not one on the merits of the case. There's still a chance that the Supreme Court will hear the case, but a slim one.
