I feel your pain Xav, I have a broken tooth I'm gonna have to get yanked. Last one I tried pliers but just couldn't get it and after tugging on it man did it hurt. Is that the PI you were building a while back?

Yes well this is the second one it has some fixes done to it. There is an LCD that must come on it too not that it does much but it tell me a very important thing being the battery voltage (Use it all the time) it also has a digital micro amp meter but I never use it. I'm working on a ferrous/Non ferrous indicator but I have had no success up till now. Here is a photo of the display that is on the first PI that I build note the voltage at the top and the micro amp meter at the bottom of the display and on the side you can see part of the pin-pointer.

That's awsome, looks pretty pro to me. Wish I had time to play with building one. My circuitry skills are getting rusty, must be all that mercury....

I always find the second version of things goes faster and better

Detecting is a hard job, but with a couple of beers, it does get easier Great
