Hi Xavier,

Well here is the photo.... What is this site, and what is on it... this place is about 1 hour from me at the most.... is the site available for detecting, and do you think much would be found there?

Gold, Gold, Gold,  Grin

Silki, those photos you put up look like a site I know here near Westonaria, but they are kraal sites... still go to go there  Hello

Hi Pgill

Yes there you can hunt to your hearts content no one will bother you. There are a few stories going about the place the one that I found the most likely is that the Boers used the kopie for sick animals and as a look out from what I know about the place there was no fighting but that does not mean that there is nothing to be found if you zoom in on the place you will see where the kraals were. At the time I did not have a MD but should I go back that way today I would definitely work it I would think that you could do the area in about a week.

All the best and have fun
Xavier

Hi Xavier.
When I bought my plane, I looked at a streak shadow and a titan as well. The Titan was nice but it was too expensive.
I eventually bought a Challenger, damn fine airy. I don't think you are going to sell a lot of planes like this. What did grab my attention was the P51....now there is something you might want to look at. I think if you could build an affordable WW2 range...that did not try and kill you every 5 min.Something light with oodles of power and easy to fly....then you just might have yourself a little business. P51, Me109, Fockewulf, that type of thing. Just adapt the design to be super stable etc. It doesn't have to be fully aerobatic just a nice flying piece of eye candy.
Check out Loehle aircraft, their WW1 birds are just awesome and I think they also do a P51.
But all this is just my opinion, I'm no expert on the aircraft market. You know ...why don't you keep an eye on

....sign up and then watch which airies sell the best second hand....that will definitely give you an inkling.
I'll give it some more thought....

Hi Pgill ! those photos of mine are from Diamond Hill , about 25k from Pretoria . I guess , from the air all those places looks similar !
The owner is a friendly gentleman who even promised to ask his neighbor for permission to walk over his ground ! Unfortunately he is running some function place and weekends is normally busy . And , during the week we are stuck .. My hands are itching very much for some digging , and my MD is getting rusty ! Got nice book from my country , unfortunately in polish , Man , people are digging there ! Officially there is between 15000 to 25000 t.hunters there - unofficially even more ! And still every week brings amazing finds ! To make things even more funny - it is illegal to even walk in the fields with MD ! Everything under one feet ,even in yours garden , belongs to the state ! But guys are resourceful - they carry some rock in the pockets and when Police stops them they explain that they are looking for meteorites - that is legal !

A quick question.... What was that slogan that was though off for the club?Huh? I think it was Viking that came out with it.... could be wrong though..... I cannot seem to find it....

Please can someone give it to me again, maybe PM me so we do not give too much away at this time.....
