I'll start by saying it's a double headed eagle. I'm sure others can help you with more information. Neat find. Sue

Looks like a well worn Russian Kopek which was obviously drilled and mounted at one time.

Hi GD

Looks like the holes were done in the molding and no drilling was done.

Xavier, I disagree. Those are typical looking holes that have been hit with a hammer after being drilled in copper. It's a coin. Why would it have been molded at all? Why would it not have been stamped like all coins? Even the hammered coins were stamped.

He may be wrong about it being a coin, though. He doesn't mention size.

It has the look of early day coin of some type---definitely struck and the holes are drilled.......double-headed eagle on one side.

I am with Xavier on the molding. If you look at both side it has rings around the holes. IF it was drilled you would have a ring on only one side not both and the rings would not be uniform in diameter.
