They definitely do not work as described. Any aura you get from any object is never emitted naturally. The auras are always emitted after the application of some sort of energy, be it in the form of heat, light or electricity. Otherwise, no auras. Period.

Think about it for a second. Would any of us pass up on using this if it really worked? If we could aim a camera at a mountainside and see a gold vein, most of us would leap at the equipment. We're not stupid but we're also not the least bit gullible either.
