Hey guys  ! evryone all right  ? went diggin a little today found lots of aluminum.  Karl you ok down there? i seen all those storms on the news  startin to feel a little better but just tired i got one more day hopefully and the kitchen remodel is complete worked till 9 last night tryin to get done while rainy .

It has ALWAYS gone through cycles (there are a couple of interesting books on the history of the River Walk, if you don't believe me).  Even during the time I lived there, I saw it go through it's ups and downs a couple of times (different stretches at different times).  What really upsets me is that they let the old main library across from La Villita go down so badly that they had to take the Hertzberg Circus Collection and Museum out of there.   When I was growing up, that was still the main pulic library, with the Circus Collection only occupying the top floor.   By the time I got married and took my wife to San Antonio for our Honeymoon, the libray had moved out and the Circus Collection took up the whole building.  Sadly they had to shut it down in 2001 because no one performed proper upkeep on the building and too many priceless Circus artifacts were getting damaged.   (This is appropriate since the building in question is on West Market just above the Arneson Theatre (btw, just stumbled across this article on a secret room in the building

Dudes I'm back -  Jeff Gordon Won the race and I burned my hand on the BBQ grill ,

Josey were OK at the moment suppose to get real bad tonight so will see.
Glad to hear the remodel is almost over with !  We want pics !!!!!!!!!!
If I don't get on tomorrow then u know a tornado took us away in the night !

BA I know what u mean i think every city goes thru that esp big cities , I know Nashville is the same way.

I think ea new administration has their own priorities and some just don't include river walks or tourist areas

till they fall into disrepair.
