Dowsing was used by GIs in Vietnam to locate boobytraps.

No it wasn't. That's utter nonsense.

I have a friend whose outfit used Dowsing to locate hidden underground viet cong tunnels. He said dowsing saved their butts time after time. He credits Dowsing with his being alive today.

Psst! Don't tell GD1950. He's the moderator that infers that forum participants are liars if they don't agree with his closed minded prejudiced views.    Dell

You're wrong, Dell. I "infer" no such thing. Only you can "infer" something. The word you were searching for is implies, not infers. You may now crawl back into your hole. Or you can continue to tell your fairy tales and cheat other people out of their hard earned money.. Your friend couldn't locate a Viet-Cong tunnel with X-Ray vision because that doesn't work any more than dowsing does. They used to use some rather heroic and loyal dogs for that.

Matacia pitched his dowsing idea to the US Military, but tests showed dowsing to be no better than guessing. Obviously, dowsing was not used, encouraged or endorsed by the US Military...........however.

There are many dowsing proponents, on various internet message boards, who claim they personally dowsed for various items, with positive results, during combat conditions in Vietnam. Military approved or not, it is plausible dowsing was used. True results may never be known.

That's not the point at all. Asking me a question does not remove the fact that dowsing for them doesn't work. You seem to be implying (correct use of the word) that dowsing was all they could do and thank goodness for dowsing!

Dowsing does not work It's been proven not to work thousands of times and proven to work never.
