Now, that's scary.  I have 2 old Garretts and my name is Keith Williams and my e-mail involves similar wording.  Of course, I won't post it here, but thanks for the tip.  If I ever need help with them, it sounds like Keith could help Keith :Smiley

I have a Garrett Deepseeker VLF/TR with the original 12" coil and the original manual. I bought it a 8 years ago from a gentleman that had been in metal detecting for over 30 years and said it was a good one. It will do a good job but I never could get all the settings where I needed them. I use a Garrett Ace 250 and love it but don't get the depth like the Deepseeker. I plan on buying another newer unit because I like the display and all the creature comforts that modern units have. I may sell the old Garrett if anybody is interested. Detecting

I just bought a Master Hunter 7. I decided to get back into hunting and wanted a new old Garrett. When I last hunted I had a S3. My brother has my S3 now. I wonder how the MH7 will stack up to the S3 besides being heaver?  Grin  Old Garretts do hold their value but I like them. Anyone use a MH7?

Michael

Here is my new old Master Hunter. I took it out in the yard and found 2 wheat pennies plus some trash. I'm still learing how to use it. I might get my S3 back from my brother.
