HI ya'll the stuff i spray i use just make's em look like new , and stops the dirt from stickin and it washes off with soapy water.
I keep covers on all my machines , on the meters & the control boxes , on the hand grip so dirt don't get in to the foam and i've got covers all along the shaft's so they alway's look like the day i bought them

Coil covers cost like $5.00 or 7 dollars.  Your coil cost how much?   You decide.

Well Fingers Crossed To Date I still have not had any Issues with coils and I STILL will not take a new machine out without a Coil Cover fitted and Covers for the machine it's self, Which is why all my machines look like new,

Yep, it just takes that one rock in the grass you smack the coil into to make that crack.

I have seen about half a dozen prospectors this past year who have worn through the Coil housing where the scub the coil on the ground trying to get the most out of the machine and these have been on Mega Dollar machines and to save weight the companies have made the coil covers out of very thin plastic, but at the cost of Common sense,

Sand beach Hunters find out soon what sand can do.  It just takes a few trips out and like a car tire the Nibbles ware off.  Then the Skin.  Then the Meat.

Absolutely,, I have seen holes in the coils of $10,000 detectors since march because of very thin coil covers and a replacement coil comes in at about $1400, That's no joke no matter who you are.

I have a Minelab 705 detector, that comes with coil covers.  I am planning in purchasing a Tesoro Vaquero.  Do Tesoro provide coils covers free or at a cost?  What are the best coil covers for detectors?

I think that Tesoro are Excellent machines and I would always use Tesoros Covers, But I would ask the dealer if the cover comes with the machine,
