I guess I'm just not very capable of navigating this site. I once again received a message in my GMAIL account saying I had a reply here to my earlier request. So I come here and can find my earlier requests but where is the so called reply?Huh???
Sorry I just don't seem to get this site. I wish  did. Cause I'm slowly having to figure out from the PC board the schematic for a Whites 2000 D .

Elvis 1946, You most likely got that notification because I posted after you. not because someone answered your question or post directly. Jaime

Hi,

Does anyone have schematics or info. for JW Fishers Pulse 8X.

A colleague of mine has one that keeps leaking!! Not sure how long I can keep drying it out before some thing serious goes wrong and I need to tear into the electronics. Of course if I could stop it from leaking............ oh well.

This may be a silly question, because you probably already did this, but did you call Fisher and what did they say? I am considering buying the same fisher model, so I would LOVE to hear what they said. Thanks

Yep, Tried calling Fisher. " No problem, if it fails send it back and we'll fix it, no you can't have schematics, that's proprietary information."

We were in Tobago at the time and only had a week, so needless to say it hasn't gone back yet.

I have to say that if it gets wet all you need to do is open it up wash it dry it and put it back together, so far anyway!!!

I think Fishers may be a little over sensitive to copying though, as all of the chips had their numbers ground off them, the only component identifiable is the FET to drive the coil.

I would also mention that the leaking is probably because it flew from New york to Tobago in only its' soft case, oops and it was being used at a 125ft depth.

Mike
