No. Find it yourself. I doubt that there is one, though.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Yep... my point... This whole discussion is pointless. The gear American Hawk sells is old fashined circuitry no better than the old radio shack model from the 70's.

People harp on and on and the majority of it is simply figments...

Before posting that I did a MEta search and came up with nothing even close to a Minelab. Even Minelab succumbed in 2010 showing some gear so now they authenitcate their products with lables...  Question is what is the source of the knockoffs.

Being a tech I kind of wanted to test the stuff against my Minelabs... But it does not seem they are are prolificly flowing in our markets as the hype would have you beleive...

When you get down to it a lot of electronics today are manufactured under contract to the Chinese company Foxconn. One would be surprised who they build for. They have over 1.3 million employees at just 3 of their factories. They also own 10% of Sharp and yep.... build Apples too......  iPad, iPhone, iPod, Kindle, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and Xbox 360.  They are the worlds largest manufacturer of electronics components.  They can build anything required from junk metal detectors to the state of the art Apple goodies.  Us old geysers remember when only junk came out of Japan in the early 60s. By the 70s they were off and running with quality. Korea was making garbage in the 70s. Look at them now. The worlds leader in memory and their internet speeds put the US to shame. China produced substandard electronics up till recently and from now on out .... look out!!     I think metal detector manufacturing has always been a niche market. Up till recently it was the Ken White and Charles Garretts and the other pioneers of the hobby.  Volume wise you can't compare it to TV, iPods etc. We should see quality Chinese detectors in a few years.

That said, I'm glad the Sweet Home folks are still at it. Been using US detectors for 40+ years and like the quality and glad to see the US designers are staying up to speed with leading edge electronics design.
 Amen

That was neither called for nor relevant to the discussion.  You might not like the comments everyone else is making (including the few non-Americans bothering to respond), but at least they kept their comments relevant to the subject.  Please do likewise.  If you wish to discuss health systems we'll be more than happy to do so on the appropriate board (Chit Chat & Everything Else).
