I followed the link and downloaded the add-on, I had it before, but on one up-date, it was dropped... never worked anyway, before. Maybe now it will.

No, I decline the offer to write in French.... 1) this is an all-English forum; 2) it is hard work for and old goat like me. It is enough that I can manage to understand English, as written by others of a number of other languages. They tend to use the word arrangement of their native language and throw in lots of words, that bear little relation to English.  Teach

One time A friends uncle (Norwegian) was telling stories, about WW2, he got more excited, the more he told the stories, then afterwards, the friend was giving me a strange look, so I asked *WHAT?* He said I sure was good at understanding Norwegian! Apparently, as the uncle got more excited, he lapsed more into Norwegian until it was All NORWEGIAN! It was a shock. It just seemed like accented English, to me.

Luc, your English is a good French grammar-word arrangement, so it makes sense and when you toss in the odd French or Latin word, it is understandable, without much problem. If I get stumped I do have a Fr-Eng/Eng-Fr dictionary, a German dictionary, a Latin dictionary, a Spanish dictionary, and a Russian dictionary..... but I have never had to use them..... yet.  Funny

There is always the first time, yet to come.   Shocked

I need an Afrikaans-English, a Hollands-English and a Norwegian-English, to round off my library. Maybe a Swedish-English and an Icelandic-English, too.  Detecting

Someday.

Hello Goldigger,

I hope that you were able to download videos, so as to make a historic video library interesting.

Concerning dictionaries, you should not need it because the English language being universal, it belongs to your interlocutors to make the effort. But I agree with you, intellectually speaking it is good to know and to be able to have a dialogue with various countries. In the list of the missing dictionaries, you would also need the Mandarin/English one.

More seriously, I prepare the other subjects for weeks to come.

Good day and best regards Luc  Detecting

Hi Alan Hassell,

You are right "Google Earth is a good tool for our searches ,I use it for long time.
Also if you work on a French location, you can use the old map made by Cassini family ----->

Those maps can be helpful if you need to find places disappeared as commanderies, chapels or churches and also of ancient communication roads.

Thank you for the information Luc this is what treasure hunting is all about helping one another especially when like in your case this is something your interested in and persuing yourself.  There are treasures we are still looking at over here in the UK but its no use giving the academics over here information that they themselves are too lazy to research hence a certain amount to silence, hehehe
others will learn too there are many treasures to be found as well.  Good luck in your ventures and I hope one day you will find that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.   best wishes alan hassell

Hi Allan Hassell

I am not pensioned off ( 3 years more), and the time yet fail to go to canvass the places that I split.
A day will come I hope for it or it will be made. You say in your profile that you have a site on which you describe your activities of detection in shallow water. You can give me your link.
Friendly and good detection
Luc

Alan;
Why have you not shown the above machine before?? I was thinking of building somethin,g and seeing this has sparked some ideas.  Shocked Shocked

We have 3 snow blowers, here, and if I take the oldest one, take the whole blower section off (about 4 bolts,) I can put an instrument section, in its place with caster wheels, plus higher drive wheels (26 inch,) and maybe have a real handy prospecting tool. It is green and can hide in the bush.... if that helps!  Grin Grin

Perhaps even tracks.

Maybe a little trailer to ride on?  Kiss Kiss

Goldigger, why on earth would you disassemble a perfectly good snow blower when wheels like the one on Alan's machine go for next to nothing at Home Depot? Or use a baby carriage frame right from a curb side trash pickup.
