New complement of Gisors story.I have just read the book of
Daniel R?ju historian and research specialist of treasure, " The Secret France ".
In this book, there is a passage concerning of course the affair of Gisors and of his supposed Treasury.
By reading these writings, he has me a synthesis seemed interesting to make it to you because Daniel R?ju brings some complements of information.
After the Roger Lhomoy affair , who was to deride, it was the time of the illegal immigrants.
In 1970, the night of March 13 to 14, a group of people arrested at night by the police, there were 3 mason workers and their children, particularly well equipped and has managed to dig a long gallery 7 meters from the cooler of the Castle.
Particularly amazing thing, they had definite and detailed plans of the basement of Gisors.
Also in 1970, one morning, the security guard discovered these sibylline sentences drawn in the chalk on the door of the "Tower of the Prisoner": - The Elected representative passed, Isis is not any more - and also - The body of Isis will soon be alive - with a signature " HY ".
Keepers of the Threshold.Among the tourists visiting every day the site of Gisors, it is to note presence of some persons, generally dressed in elegant but dark clothes, sometimes wearing particular badges or of cross in the back of it the jackets, despite the efforts of anonymity. One of these persons reportedly told M. Canu the caretaker of the site at the time a discreet but effective continuous monitoring was taking place around the castle ....
During the filling with some concrete of the ancient galleries dug by Lhomoy, filling decided by Andr? Malraux (minister of culture), they noticed at the beginning of jobs that the rainwater had flooded cellars and that some days later the same water had disappeared. The engineer in load of these jobs, entrusted to M. Canu, which the only hypothesis likely to explain this phenomenon implicated the existence of tunnels located much more low and in that the rainwater would have passed. The security guard related these purposes to the Mayor and to his assistants, he had the answer: "There are things that are best not to try to understand."
Mr. Canu allegedly told the author Daniel REJU that police officers (from Paris) in Civil provided a discreet presence of the place. The guard reportedly also been the subject of supervision on their part for several weeks.
Also in 1970, a pickaxe from a mason allowed the discovery of a jar containing 8,000 silver coins show the effigy of Henry II of England with the Temple cross in the back. This find, performed in the court of a boutique of the street of the "Fr?res Plaquais" in Gisors.
The mystery of 30 chests.During a bombing carried out in 1942, a crypt was discovered and immediately recapped by the staff of the mayor. But an article in a French newspaper monthly "Ici Paris" published June 22, 1960 that "Prior to reseal the wells, some have taken the precaution of checking if it was not empty. The jewels were sold under the coat. "
Silence on the townStrangely from beginning to end this affair, it is inscribed filigreed shade of local clergy: The documents emanating from Ecclesiastical other ecclesiastical inform Lhomoy, others are watching very near the two excavations of Cultural Affairs, etc. ....
In this epoch Mr Canu, discussing with a priest, issued assumption that if something must be discovered, it would not perhaps be about a treasure, but about '"secret Archives likely to change the course of history". These words the priest answered nothing, darkened and left immediately. Some days later, noise ran in Gisors where Mr Canu slandered religion!.
Many documents and manuscripts relating to Gisors disappeared from public libraries and from archives.
Mr. Paoli, TV western Switzerland, held in early March 1971 to a fellow of the Swiss newspaper as saying: The Enigma of Gisors is interesting not only because of the personality of Lhomoy, but also because attempts to silence the case. What is surprising when one considers the potential value of such discoveries historically.
All excavation projects were systematically rejected since that date.
In 1950 the road workers are discovered a curious intersection of underground to 6 meters deep in the streets of the "?pous?es".
In the book "The Great Castles of France," it says on page 14 about Gisors, "The third surrounding wall encompasses the city. Searches made here brought the discovery of prison cells of other tunnels......
I shortened the list of findings proving the existence of tunnels under the castle and the city, as well as between Gisors to Neaufles few kilometers ..
Enjoy reading this additional information.
