Even here we have this issue with some sites, and I would imagine the treasure history makes them highly suspicious. Couple that with the ego usually associated with people in charge of something and you get nowhere no matter the cause.

The worst part of some of these treasure stories is you can't even get to them nowadays. Frustrating.

Okay plan two. Get yourself one of those fake sumo suits with a gpr tranmitter in your shoes, pose as a big american tourist and walk the whole place. They will never suspect! Grin

I retain the idea of disguising SUMO, I really laughed.

It is true that the word treasure, ensures that people with some power to say it would be wiser to appropriate instead of letting people who have done historical research before starting excavation .

Luc whatever happened to that Templar tomb allegedly discovered in the south of France. Did archeologists excavate it?

There was a lot of publicity some time ago then nothing. Another project shut down by the ministry of culture or a hoax?

I have not heard or read recently of things related to the discovery of Templar tomb in the south of France, except the discovery of Ben Hammott in 1996 1997 (I am currently spirited reading his book in English: Lost Tomb of the Knights Templar).

The discovery by Ben Hammott seems serious because he was surrounded by many speakers as English and German, which also names have been given and that the documents exist and have been disclosed and assessed.

I invite you to read this book , My view of the story of Rennes le Chateau is in the large end of the telescope now.

Actually for me is the track on the most serious case of Rennes le Chateau and the Knights Templar, as Ben Hammott prospected and investigated successfully traces and clues left by Sauni?re.

With many discoveries (bottles with messages inside).

It's really very serious.

Now that is quite an adventure! How exciting it must have been when reviewing that video the first time and seeing what was so close and yet almost missed but by the sake of chance. Great story!

While reading that an idea occurred to me that an rov camera would be a nice thing to have. Especially exploring caves in snake country. I think that will be my next workshop project.

Hello Luc

I have a similar system in my inventory. There is an optional length of six meters of fiber optic cable. Photographs and Movies of cavities or inside of pipes etc..can be uploaded to a computer.

Another interesting piece of kit is a thermal imagery camera. Different surfaces give of different heat signatures. Good for finding hidden cavities and patched up wall voids. Down side with it is it needs constant recalibrating.

All handy for floor, wall and ceiling cavities and in some cases under ground chambers.

Hi Luc,
I have been reading with interest all the forum articles about the knights templar, I am slightly interested about a site a few miles from where I live here in Lincolnshire, it is called `Temple Breuer` that was a highly fortified Knights Templar castle.
It is flat to the ground and all is left nearby is a tower. I am skeptical about the legends of immense wealth the Templar's were alleged to possess, as you seem to be quite an expert on the subject ...is there any hard evidence ?
and was there a church within the walls of Gisor Castle .? or any records of churches in any of their castles, as it seems a very religious order would need one at hand .
