Wow there has been a lot of writing going on today  Shocked I do have a detector in England that I can use while I am there, so not even sure If I will take my detector or not..... Will see how much my luggage weighs....  Wise AU, have you figured out how far I am away from you?Huh? I would love to take you up on an outing.... But due to money which is expensive from this side.... I will not have a great pot of gold while over there..... It costs us 11.85 rands for 1 pound.... so as you can see it is not too funny. But lets see what we can do  Great I appreciate everything you have done for me  Wink

Jim, what have you done with your finds? Did you manage to keep them? I am all for saving history, but also would hate to leave the treasure behind.... If the finds are not too big or historically insignificant, I do not see why a person can not keep them.....

Xavier, can we not build a dog stunner into the detector.... That way when we go detecting we will be armed and ready  Grin  Funny

Thanks for that AU, and to meet some of the other guys would be fantastic  Great I would love it if we can do something like that... I will have to bring my detector as I will not be able to borrow one from that part of England, but I do not think it should be a problem.... Anyway, as you have said, we do have time to think and work things out  Idea In the mean time, lets make Xavier and Viking jealous  Grin  Funny  Laughing I guess we have a date then  Kiss digging in the dirt, how romantic  Shame  :Smiley

Well you don't need to put in an effort to make me jealous, I'm there already!
I think I hear the wind in those oak trees on the farm calling my name again......something about a cache.....
I still want to get into the dam with the cz 21. I am pretty sure that there must be something in there. The area I usually hunt surrounds it and as we have seen, something must have happened in that area.
There is another forest that I want to do as well. It lies adjacent to the forest of Turkish oaks where I found the trigger gaurd.
I really am itching to do a nice relic hunt again....the beach gets so boring, specially if all you find is junk jewellery and old buggered up coins. I will take a nice old button or other rusty relic anytime.
