Hey guys.... :

Well I got a reply from one of the places I wrote too..... But I am not good enough for them Shocked

First off, I was told that the club is full and not taking any members.... Amen

then I was told that "we are big with the antiquities and do not like people who do detecting for self gain No no!

They do not seem to like having people with them just for the social side of things.... ahh they do love me though Kiss

Don't you just love the country I was born in?

Oh well, at least AU like me Grin

The thing I find that is funny is that their club is full and there is a waiting list to get in..... I have never heard such hog wash..... how can a club be full? Huh?

Here in SA, if a club is full, they would create a 2nd club to cater for all..... The more the merrier Kiss

AU, I will be in Northampton from the 15th - 29th September, I would love to find a bit of Roman or something..... But mainly would love to just say that I have detected in England..... Oh, and to film the detecting for Youtube Wise

..... How far away from Northampton are you? What town?

Not too sure on the rules here but who the hell needs a club then? Is there a law against metal detecting in a forest where no one can see you? hehe?
I have had a very colourful few days...not pleasant mind you! And it seems that my blackberry has once again stopped giving me the forum updates!
