Yes Pgill but why would they rust....in certain places and not in others.
I think a responsible scientist like yourself should take your machines and go and put them in your test garden and see what the results show! After all you have a contact for new detectors :Smiley

And then coming back to the diamonds ....I have heard a few tales of diamonds found in amongst small caches of boer relics lately......But these guys are very secretive , they are just busy arming themselves with some really awesome machines.....and I am not complaining.
Gee man we really have to make an effort for a good hunting weekend. I am really looking forward to the day....!
We need a couple of group shots on this forum now....it's time! Enough talk  let's start shaking a leg.

You have to find us a hot site. Boer war , maybe a fort. That would make a very nice backdrop and we could really cover ground amongst 4 or 5 of us.

We should also pick a date in the future and then start hashing out the final date that everyone could make it.
We would have to check to see when Silki is on leave from the bush.....so he can come with us ....to the bush! Okay and that is the first aid issue sorted out.
lol!
Pgill is behind the camera, Xavier can service the machines and keep them running without a hiccup and I .........will mix the mojito's, open beers light the fire.....hands on kinda guy you know!

Hi Pgill ! How is yours money plantation going ? Very interesting experiment , indeed ! If U can only borrow me yours Kruger pound , I will plant it in VERY good soil with lots of manure ! After good harvest we going 50 / 50 ? Did you , guys , watched last Sunday , I think (?) on the History Chanel on series " Warriors "  It was about Anglo - Zulu battle of Isandlwana ! Very bloody battle , with thousands dead on both sides . It was very interested , with very detailed battle plan in real location ! Ideal place to explore , I just doubt if the owners of the place will allowed any one there ? Undecided

I think a nice Boer war site would be ideal.... lets look into it  Great I will be away in England in September, so that is out for me,,,, umm and saving up my leave for my trip, so I cannot take much in the way of leave, but hey what are public holidays for  Crazy

Silki, My experiment got taken out by a stupid bird,,,, but I am going to plant again tomorrow, and it will be even better than the last time  Shocked  Clapp As for planting my old coin, it came from the soil, and ain't going back to the soil  Mad

There have been some good video on the Boer war, in fact take a look in the video section of my site, there is a great documentary in about 6 - 7 parts....  Rider
