I live about as far from Sydney as you can get. Perth is on the other coast.

Good job GoldDigger1950 answered you, as I was not sure.... you did not include a quote, so we could know.

Anyway, if you asked me, I am as far away as one can get, on this planet... It would be about  the same for me to go straight down to Perth, or Sydney... that might be a bit Hellish, no? But shorter.

We have to stop meeting this way even I am getting confused, between 2 gold diggers.  Shocked

Come on, Brian! We meet here every day! Isn't that lovely? Just pour a cup of coffee and we're all having a nice chat.

My coffee gets cold, while I surf! Time to pour another, keep talking while I pour.  Shocked

I am seriously thinking of a name change but have not come up with anything good that will not draw smart remarks from yourself (which I ignore, anyway.)  Grin

Scorpio, what is on the other end of the chain? You say the drum is hanging in the river but what is it hanging from? Your story seems to be full of holes and nonsense. If the drum is dangling there, just pull it up. What on earth is stopping you? And what makes you think a drum underwater for probably 65 years might be part of a WWII treasure?

I know a fake story when I see one, mate.
