Whether you get an aura or reflection depends on the camera and how it is set up.  Auras do not show up using false color IR photography for instance.

Honestly, there is nothing about gold that would give off an aura. It's one of the least likely elements of all to do that. Physics does not support this theory.

LOL! My Trac Phone Camera is IR sensitive.    Maybe I have a Secret Weapon and just don't realize it.   Shocked

years  ago I had  taken pictures  in  several  of  my sites. Using  a  35mm  camera.  When   I got  them  back  they were  full  of bubbles,,(  bad  exposure/film ) So  I  tossed  the  pics  and  never  gave  it  another  thought. As  time  passed  I  met  a  fellow  whom  was discussing  secrets  with  me...We all  have  secrets  we use  to  find  things..As  it  would  be-  This fellow  showed  me  a site somewhere  in  mexico.  In his  pictures   were  bubbles.  He  told  me  that  a  gas will emit  from  the ground over  time. It can be photographed at  sunset/sundown  for these  results.

Now  Iwould not  have  given  it  another  thought  if'n  I  had  not seen  my own  film  with  the  same issues  many  years   before
