Just a rational observation here, but I read about a Silver Dollar Test/Challenge that involved the H3 Tec. According to the H3 Tec operator, he could not locate the silver dollars (two of them in the same hole) because the ground might have been tainted with silver nitrate forty or fifty years ago. A likely excuse for failure, in my opinion.

That said, shouldn't the H3 Tec have been able to discriminate the silver nitrate and zero in on the silver dollars?

As another rational observer, we only have your word for this alleged test. Perhaps you are making that up? One never knows.

Actually...another rational observer would have probably asked for the source/link before making malicious accusations of making things up   Wink

To be taken seriously, you should provide one without being asked. Now, show me where I was malicious or made an accusation?

I see. Some forums concider it "spam" when you start dropping links to other message boards....without someone asking for the link.

Here is the source/link for the Silver Dollar Test and results:

Seems like the test was conducted under somewhat less than ideal conditions for a scientific experiment.

I'd think for real results one should use the machine to verify a clean area before the plant, then run the test without time constraints to minimize human error from possibly rushing the test.

The run the test three times using three different plants. Plant one coin, plant two coins in different spots, and plant no coins, with a random order on the tests so the operator is unaware how many targets they are looking for.

Then run the whole scenario again with a different observer and operator. At that point you will have some real data.

Even if a person doesn't believe the machine will do what is advertised they have to test it fairly to get an honest result. Otherwise it's just opinion versus opinion.

With almost a year on these forums and over 200 posts, by now you should have noticed that this is not the policy here. In the same token, knowing me at all you will surely be able to tell that I have absolutely no belief in LRLs at all. Not one tiny fraction of a brain cell believes in them or their abilities. I dedicate that same amount of belief towards dowsing. While you and I probably are 100% in synchronicity, it's only fair to cite a source of a test. Unfortunately, after reading the test conditions, I conclude that it wasn't a valid test at all. That's a shame because I'd like to see LRLs completely discredited.

Hi Guys...I'm not stating the test was 100% accurate, or scientifically administered. Nowhere close to a true Double Blind scenario.

My query to Ike was in regards to the specific element capabilities of the H3 Tec. My thoughts were along the line of.....if the item is advertised to discriminate everything BUT the element it was programmed to locate...why would silver nitrate, silver sodium or silver hair be an issue.

Even though the H3 Tec did not perform as advertised (discriminate unwanted elements), I do agree that scientific testing (double blind) is needed...in a controlled scientific atmosphere

My original question to Ike:

That said, shouldn't the H3 Tec have been able to discriminate the silver nitrate and zero in on the silver dollars?

Thanks, RO

In simpler terms, RO, it failed even a flawed test.

There is also the operator error question. Was it confirmed that the silver nitrate was the issue or simply assumed?

The only thing to take away from that test is the lesson on how not to test something imo  Grin
