Yes, I did try to influence him several times but it didn't work. You see, I was looking for a way to increase the % of good targets and was hoping this was it. I would say; I had a signal over by that barn with one of my units or that tree when I knew it wasn't. He would find the one that was there, not where I told him. But it still looks like they get hot rocks and mineral deposits also, so buying one at those prices is out.

You pick a detector up, turn it on and recover. If you had a machine that you could pick up, turn on, and go to any gold target within a mile, what would that be worth??? I would hate to even guess how much time I have spent doing this, but I do relic hunt with my Minelab almost as much.

I am convinced these LRL fellows embellish the truth.

And still wasting time relic hunting with all that gold within a few miles

A matter of perspective. I have some items that are priceless to me. A mule shoe from a battle in Vicksburg, a broach from Shaking Rock Ga., a penny with a b-b dent that I shot as a kid found 40 yrs later, wagon parts from the wagon Jeff Davis burnt by the Oconee River in Ga.

And on those days I get very little, it's still good exercise.

Ike,

Me thinks you are the latest exponent of the old saying "open mouth, insert foot" as pertains to Carl's level of education. I don't know the man personally but have conversed with him on his Geotech forum.  I do know that previous to his employment with "Whites Detectors" he worked for a large micro circuit manufacturer and is an avid detectorist and collector.  He has several well acclaimed detector designs which by the way are in the public domain and have not enriched him in any way.  He is quite frankly a prince of a man and his advice on things "detector" is free for the asking.  I would venture he is blanching a bit at my defense of his honor from a degreed fool who has been parted from a great deal of bread.

As to my cred's I am a high school grad with vocational training in Diesel mechanics which I never used due to the intervention of One "Uncle Sam" and a sweet talking career counselor.  I spent next 46 wks at Keesler AFB learning electronics & radar maint. and then the next 19 yrs. putting that training to use.  I hold no college degrees unless you want to include "The College of Life."  I spend my days trying to keep my 67 yr. old brain from degrading into a grey puddle of mush between my ears.  MS is, though, slowly taking its toll in that area but until it takes over I'll continue to occasionally burn myself with my soldering iron and build my next project.

Y'all take care and have a pleasant fall & winter,
Dennis

Just wondering if Klondikeike will return and tell us all just how rich he has become using his H3Tec?

Should be swimming in gold now, shouldn't he?

Come on, show us the money honey!!

Doubtful...Ike is a sales-rep for H3 Tec, and not really doing a good job of representing his company/product by bickering on internet message boards. IMO...I think Chuckie banned his reps from posting

He may have banned them from posting, but he cannot resist emailing me and as a result he has tied himself in so many knots there is no way out. We are on the case and if you want to join the hunt please just write a few emails to FBI, DOD, asking why he is still in business.

Anyone want to join in and shut these mofos down, please let me know! I'll happily let you have a copy of my corrsepondence with him for your amusement/disgust. He's a great writer by the way! Fiction!!

Diohuni

Your out of line with your picking at and harassing members. 90% of us do not believe in LRL's but the ones that do have a right to discuss them without your uneducated input. RO and others have educated answers to counter the info posted by the LRL users but all you have done is troll trying to get people to join your Dubious Dick (The JREF Forums)
The Fake Explosives Detectors Campaign Group.

NOTE: To members 75% of sites like that are set up for one reason to get your info. and fill your email box with junk.

Its clear that the only reason you are here is to stir up the LRL users that being the case I will give you one warning. Go to the boards and talk treasure are move on.

Seldom

Seldom;

I think he has good intentions, but he is so angry, it gets away from him.  Thanks for the heads up on the trap web sites.

I know of no LRL user that wants one used for bomb detection.
