I think the future of medicine lays in stem cell research, how ever things like that will be knobbled by the pharmecutical companies. As there is no profit in cures only treatments.

I agree with Gozzo. If we can send a basketball sized probe to Mars and have it land in an area the size of a baseball field several million miles away they they can cure some of these ailments...but that would put the pharmacutical companies in a non profit conundrum. but hey i like MY detector!!!!! Crazy Idiot

I am starting to get the impression, that this contest is not happening. Or does someone know something I missed? In Australia it's the 29th of April. Can someone please make a decision on this competition's future.

Only the board's owner, Christian, can make that decision. Send him a PM if you wish but he has been MIA for a few weeks now on personal and other matters. I've sent him a few PMs and also answered one of his but have not heard from him lately. I'd advocate patience but it seems as if your supply may have run out. I understand. Run on down to Bunnings and buy a new bottle of patience. It's in the aisle with the elbow and relative bearing greases. Top shelf. Kind of hard to reach.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

For the builders and I want to try people out there.

Watch the Contest Board in the Next few days.

I'm going to put a PCB of a Whites PI Surf Master for contest.

I pay shipping. within Reason.  I do not pay Customs or more.

This detector was taken From a Swamp out unit and the Pots, toasted with Rust from salt water.

I dissected it and it looks good to go.

All Contacts of switches are tagged.

All Pots are Tagged.

Looking at the board it's self it looks fine but some corrosion on legs of one IC.

Tooth Brush with ISOPropyl alcha should fix that.

Contest will be free.

Go to Contest and Lottery and tell me how you would like it to Run!

 Cool
