I got RO and others to lay off a couple of threads on drowsing so y'all could discuss without flak but what do you do but start a new thread attacking the nonbelievers. This thread has zero to do with drowsing it was started just to stir.

The Revelation Locator Rod is a joke. Maybe you should get a job @ MickeyD's and stop trying to scam people out of their hard earned cash.

 This subject ' Influences' is posted under Dowsing. So some comment of influences
 while dowsing. Perhaps micro gold would be a good subject for starters.
 Seldom I don't think there is any word drowsing? I am presuming you mean
 dowsing.

if you had read my post with an open mind, you would have caught on to the fact that
the examples I stated are those of belief, not skepticism.
I now understand that I should have stated: "Who makes the BEST Metal Detector"
as an example of belief.  Everyone has their own belief/opinion of which is BEST, all proven
scientificly by someone, somewhere.  BUT, someone, somewhere would be skeptical
of anothers belief/opinion because it did not agree with their own beliefs/opinion.
If my asking readers to be open minded enough to allow someone else to have their
own beliefs about dowsing offends you, then I am sorry that you feel that way.
 
True, dowsing has not been scientificly proven,
but if it works for someone, good for them.
Using dowsing as a search and or research tool
in metal detecting, could be viewed in the same light as my
using sidelineal radar spectographical maps for finding
mineral  deposits.
The Theory of Relativity: not proven scientificly but there is a
large amount of  empirical evidence that say's it is true,
just ask any survivors of Hiroshima or Nagasaki.
The Theory of a Quantum Universe: unproven scientificly,
but held dear by many quantum physicists.
It is my understanding that the scientific community has yet to prove that a
BumbleBee can fly.  By scientific & technical knowledge their design
is not a stable flight platform, therefore unable to fly.
But there is a vast amount of empirical evidence that they do fly.

When someone produces an item for sale and makes
statements about it's abilities, it it up to the consumer
to decide whether to purchase or not, following the
Buyer Beware principal.
I personally have no use for electrical dowsing machines,
and would not purchase one despite any claims by the manufacturer.

Maychance, Schrodigers' Cat would have been a better title for this
thread, rather than INFLUENCES.
for those of you not familiar with the Cat Experiment, simply:
a cat is put into a box, it has a 50/50 chance of being either dead or alive,
or a 100% chance of being in both states until the box is opened.
By opening the box we INFLUENCE the experiment when we look inside
and observe whether the cat is dead or alive.
