I think I am going to start with a bunch of tests in the backyard with a few coins and silver rings at different levels and then try some yogourt
containers empty to see how far it detects voids.  Popcorn thoughts so far, but we will see!

It shows how the Jeo Sonar was tested. It should give you some ideas on how to test what your machine is capable of.

Muting the audio and just watching the moving pictures would be better.

This may be of interest to you: There's a series of short videos in youtube on the new Nokta Golden Gate where they demo it. Here's the link to the first video:

.

There was one test where it detected a staple standing on end thru 10cm of beach sand...looked impressive. Once again you may have to mute the audio and watch the moving pictures. The sounds made by the new Nokta reminded me of video games in the 80's. Grin

Maybe you'd care to put the JeoTech thru similar tests and let us know the outcome? It may not be a fair comparison as the Golden Gate is in a higher price range, but if your machine can do similar stuff at a lower price, it'd be great.

How long until you are supposed to recieve it? This sounds promising if it can do what it claims-and good for highly mineralized soil and salt? Over 15 feet and it is a VLF. Maybe I'll stop looking at deepers and the bulgarian stuff and go in this direction instead. Please let us know, please, please, please, please, please. Pray

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

What I will be really interested in seeing is how well it does with the "void" detecting.  How big of a space and how far down it can detect it.  These are the claims, and it will be interesting to see if they are true.

Well Viracocha, if that thing does what that chart says that will be a killer if a machine,
good luck with that, HH
