It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

The light dial is used to adjust the brightness of the led display lights on the joystick.  The ground switch is used when you are ground balancing before using.  In the manual there is a whole chapter on the ground balance technique.  The battery is a 11.1 V 2amp Lithium polymer rechargeable battery...life is 10 hours.  You just hook it up to a 12v battery to charge it.

It feels like a Tesoro... very light.  I was a little worried when the box arrived, because it was a little beat-up and looked a little crushed... I was half expecting to open up the case and find a beautiful detector in pieces.. but no..all was well....so far!

Very, Very cool. and it is a VLF that can handle any ground, I wonder if it has any disc settings,
If it works at half those depths its worth twice the money. and it looks so well made.

The manual that came with it is nice, but it reads like it has been translated a couple of times.. for example

3)Sensitivity switchThe switch that is used to adjust sensitivity   Ummm OK well that totally explains that!

It's almost like it was written by someone who has no idea what an MD is and that has been translated 3 or 4 times

Nice case as well, if that thing finds you a nice big vein of color that will cap it off nicely

Controls are simple!

Ground balancing looks to be a bit of an art, but no programs to tweek ect.

here is a pic of the display working!
