   Got my parts list working here.   I have everything but the X   .   Vero board is good for stuff like this.  I can burn boards but this is not worth the trouble.

I plan to build mine inline on a narrow board so I can put it into a small pipe. I assume the detdctor is using a ferrite rod coil.

Yes from the video the rod is 50mm long and the coil 40mm long on a Teflon reel, induction of the coil is 2290uH 0.3mm magnet wire (the schematic has a different coil setup)

 Shocked That's ridiculous, who wants a pin pointer that detects a coin at over 300mm? very impressive though but I for one don't want it.

That"s right Xavier. That's not a pinpointer, it qualifies as a metal detector. He must not get the jist of what the word pinpointer  means.

Yes and can you imagine how unstable it must be in the field, it will detect all the minerals in the ground.

Bench tests are the proof of concepters but field tests are the real "provers"..
