A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

To all that are building this board. The schematic does not match the board. There are parts on the board that either not on the schematic or have been changed in value. Please notice that as drawn on the schem, the regulator would only put out 1.2v not the 3.3 that the chips and leds need. The board shows the adj pin with a 2k to the out line and a 3k to ground. C3 is not on the board. A 220 uF cap from bat + to ground is on the board and not on the schem. R8 is changed to 51 ohms. R10 is changed to 200 ohms. This an SMT board, so don't think everyone has the means or know how to do it. There might be other problems too that I missed.

Yes well he did say that this was the version FM2 schematic so my guess is that if you want a board you'll have to make one from scratch.

Another good reason to prorotype with a vero board. I have my version drawn up with mods including pc board layout. Just a photoshopped version of the one in the post. Going out now to a wifi spot to post it. Schematic and board. Stay tuned.

Why do you need to go to a WiFi spot to post a PCB layout?

Drawings are on my laptop. I have no Internet at home. I have internet on phone but unable to upload files to the phone through data cable.

Ok I finally made it here. Here is the schematic and PC board drawings.  Please note the orientation difference for the 78L05. Also note the foil changes. Even though we all build this it still may not work. Absent are the fuse settings for the burner. Don't forget to enter the OSCAL value into the program at 3FFF (end of program memory). Don't know how they are using the MCLR pin 4. It could be set as MCLR or GPIO. I guess I will have to experiment. There are no real changes to the operation of the circuit. Changes are only for reducing component count without changing operation. (Total 7)

Received the Chip today.   I assume you did this?   Don't forget to enter the OSCAL value into the program at 3FFF (end of program memory)
