Hi Hobbyist,

Thanks for joining us here  Great you are very right, we do have a great country here, and yes also short of man made treasure.... The rocks etc are plenty here, although the great ones are not easy to get unless you buy them.....

If you look on my webpage you can see my rock collection that I have.....

I am more into war relics and coins, and they are not as plenty as what you guys have..... But we do enjoy our trips out detecting, and when we do get a good find, well it is just a bonus.

Goldnboy, yeah that is one of the great stories going around, but it is a needle in a very big haystack.... I guess it is like looking for the Jessie James treasure.... If you find it great  Great but you cannot spend your life on it.....
If you look in the forum on my webpage, you will see that I have already found a Kruger pound, so I guess I do have a 1 in the million of the Kruger millions  Cheesy The boer war sites are the best thing we have at this time in South Africa, unless you are lucky to have a farm like Viking has to search with some great finds....

Okay so I missed a few pages.
Some new folk on board.....g'day!
As far as the state giving permission.....they should demand that the site of development be searched and the relics removed, I want to see a time when the search results form part of the officially required documentation.
I believe there is an operation in South Africa called Viking Industries Pty Ltd that are already offering this service....hehehe! Rider
Peter and Xavier are planning to climb another anthill?

Hello Peter I plan on having a look at your web site. I'm into rocks and all that kind of stuff  Cool
have you followed the Paul Kruger Legend! I have met some people a while ago who had met with his family. I remember one story about a Mule train packed with gold? I think that may have been after the train journey. How to prove any of this. I'm not so sure.
