Thats a good point, as we get more confident we tend not to ask that many questions and that's where we go wrong, and i did the same thing back in november or was it december anyway i am guilty of it just the same

Well the MP3 is light, but doesn't look like it would be good in the water, beach, or sand. Doesn't look good for gold either. But I have learned to tweak my el cheapo's and have a ball with them. I haven't even tore into the innards yet to play. Cant bring myself to taking apart a working machine. Come on machines break for crying out loud. Its winter time and I'm bored.

Thats 16.7 grams of 100yr old 18ct , The big ring had a 15.1 point diamond and weighed about 9.8 grams the diamond was 4mm across
and ths smaller one weighed 2.4 grams with a platinum cap with 5 diamonds ,and the pocket watch bar was about 4.5 grams,
This place had been done with every metal detector thats been made since 1968 and they had been there for 50 or 60 yrs before that

That's , Cool  and it's also goes to show why people should dig every beep ! it may register as trash or precious aluminum , but it may also be a really nice ring or relic.  Smiley
